About Ryan Burle: Write, Flight or Freeze
Write, Flight or Freeze explores the connection between performer and audience in a poetic conversation surrounding themes of identity, love, loss and ambition.
Ryan is a local performance poet and a professional actor from Chichester. He spent the last 7 years trotting around the globe, from being a long-haul flight attendant, to teaching dance in Canada with absolutely no dance experience. After gaining a first class degree in Acting, his poetry became his latest venture.
You can find Ryan on Instagram.
About Jack Burnham: Shimmer by Shimmer
A spoken word choral piece in which four voices intertwine, interrogate, break apart and strike discordant notes along a journey into the depths of the human heart.
Jack has worked as librettist on the opera 'Saudade' which was performed at the Nodo Festival in Czechia in 2022. He has also had his written work performed in the Minerva Theatre as part of the Playpod programme and at the Hightide Festival.
About Jill Palmer
A series of humorous poems with philosophical themes. Poetry to raise questions and raise a smile.
Jill has performed her poetry at Victorious Festival 2023.
About Nicki's Spoken and Comedy Show: Nicki Watts
A great mix of funny poetry, entertaining monologues, comedy characters and a little stand up. Fun and laughter guaranteed. She's naughty, straight talking and sometimes controversial...
Nicki is an experienced spoken word artist, writer, actress and compere. She has performed at countless venues (mainly but not exclusively in Eastbourne) and in a variety of different settings.
